NBC's popular TV Show, The Office, used Calvert Street in Valley Glen as a backdrop for a recent episode shot Thursday night. The house in the 13000 block of Calvert, serves as the "TV House" for characters Jim Halpert & Pam Beesley on the show. Actors Steve Carell (Michael Scott), BJ Novak (Ryan Howard), Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesley) and John Krasinski (Jim Halpert), were all present for the taping.One of the Calvert scenes has Michael Scott outside Pam's house at 5:00 in the morning in a delivery van. Pam kisses Jim goodbye in the doorway of the house, then joins Michael in the waiting van. Could this be part of Michael's new paper company after exiting Dunder-Mifflin? We'll have to see! The episode is scheduled to air in a couple of weeks.
